The Rural Municipality of Lajord No. 128 is now accepting applications for a full-time equipment operator with duties to commence as soon as possible.
Eligible applicants must possess a valid A1 Drivers License, along with the ability and knowledge to operate a wide range of municipal equipment.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Mowing Ditches
- Road Grading/Maintenance
- Gravelling
- Road Construction
- Culvert, Sign Installation and Maintenance
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair
- Other Duties as Directed by the Manager of Public Works, CAO, and Council
Salary will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications ($25.94-$36.75). The RM offers an excellent health and dental plan as well as a pension plan. The qualified applicant will be expected to join Teamsters Local Union No. 395 as an employee with the RM.
A drivers abstract and criminal record cheque will be required should you be the successful applicant.
