Resolution No. 36-03A

WHEREAS, some treaty land entitlement claims, that have gone to Reserve status, encompass entire bodies of water; and

WHEREAS, the policy of SaskWater Corporation is that water bodies belong to no one person or group of people; and

WHEREAS, no one can deliberately restrict access or usage of public water bodies;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that we request SARM to lobby SaskWater Corporation to protect water bodies from private ownership and restricted access by preventing the inclusion of provincial water bodies in treaty land entitlement claims.
