The Rural Municipality of McCraney No. 282 is seeking a Seasonal Equipment Operator (potential to turn into full-time for the right candidate). The shop is located within the Village of Kenaston.
The successful candidate must hold a valid driver’s license, be able to operate various pieces of equipment as required (grader, tractor, motorized scrapers, dozer etc.), have knowledge of servicing/maintaining various equipment, have a working knowledge of road building and maintenance, the ability to work independently without supervision and as part of a team, be able to work safely, and have the ability to take direction from the Council, Administrator, and Foreman/Coordinator.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, road maintenance while operating various pieces of equipment, mowing if required, culvert and sign installation, equipment maintenance and repairs, shop work, rock picking, and any other tasks assigned by the Council.
