Office Assistant

The R.M. of Stonehenge No. 73 and Village of Limerick operate as a joint municipal office and are seeking applicants for the position of Office Assistant.

The Office Assistant, works under the direction of the Administrator and will provide support in all aspects of municipal administration for both the R.M. and Village.  This includes: dealing with the public in person and on the phone, receipting, accounts payable and receivable, maintaining cemetery records, arranging programming at the Limerick Opportunity Centre and general office duties etc.

This is a permanent position from 28-35 hours per week.  The starting wage is $19.38/hour however the wage scale is established to reflect responsibilities, skills, experience and job performance.  This position offers a matched pension plan and a benefit plan which includes health, dental and disability, after the probation period is completed.

The successful candidate as an individual must be organized, detail orientated, dependable and professional with a positive attitude.  Other skills required are a proficiency in MS Office Excel and Word and the RM will arrange training for the Munisoft software.
