Seasonal Operator

The Rural Municipality of Langenburg No 181 is currently seeking a Seasonal Operator. This is a full-time position required from mid-April to mid- November.

Responsibilities:

• Operating equipment; including front-end loader, backhoe, road grader & heavy trucks.
• Hauling equipment
• Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items & safety issues
• Preforming preventative maintenance & servicing of vehicles
• Hauling aggregate
• Keeping accurate haul logs
• Perform other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Class 1A Driver’s License mandatory
• Drivers Abstract
• Experience with front-end loaders, backhoe & road graders an asset
• Experience hauling, dumping & spreading aggregate an asset.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to take direction from the Shop Foreman & Council
• Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulation & compliance.
• Criminal Record Check
• First Aid & Ground Disturbance is an asset.
• Must be prepared to take safety courses as required.
