Temporary Maternity Leave

The R.M. of Hart Butte No. 11 and R.M. of Happy Valley No. 10 invite applications for a Certified Administrator for an 18-month maternity leave for the respective municipalities.

The RM 11 office (located in Coronach, SK)  is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 p.m. with a part-time assistant working in the office 3 days/week. This will be where the majority of work will take place.  The Administrator will be required to work at the Happy Valley Office (located in Big Beaver, SK)  a few days per month, but these days are very flexible as there is an assistant working in the office.  The potential start date would be September 2, 2024.

The Administrator reports directly to council and works cooperatively with Council in all operations of the Municipalities.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • A certificate in Local Government Authority
  • A minimum Rural Class “C” Certificate of qualification
  • Experience with financial operations, budgeting, assessment, taxation, and general office management;
  • Understand legislation and bylaws;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong computer skills including experience with Munisoft.
