Foreman

The Town of Rouleau is accepting applications for an experienced working Foreman who will manage our Public Works Department.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 1 Water Treatment & Water Distribution Certification and Class 1 Wastewater Treatment & Wastewater Collection Certifications. (an asset but not mandatory)
• Power Mobile Equipment Training Certification, First Aid/CPR, confined space, ground disturbance, and pesticide applicator (an asset but not mandatory)
• must be willing to acquire any and all additional training as required or suggested by governing bodies, council and/or administration
• must have thorough knowledge of equipment operation and technique and have the ability to perform maintenance
• must possess a valid Driver’s License
• must have strong organizational, communication and record keeping skills
• must have the ability to supervise and instruct co-workers in accordance with scheduling of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual tasks as well as manage any contractors hired by the municipality
• must have the ability to be discreet and professional The successful applicant will report directly to Council and Administration and prepare reports for Council as requested.  The foreman ensures that all Public Works Department operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.

The Town of Rouleau offers competitive compensation based on qualifications, experience and skill set, and has a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and pension. The annual compensation rate will be within $53,000 – $72,000 based off experience and skill set.
