Equipment Operators

The R.M. of Torch River No. 488 is accepting applications for Seasonal and Full Time Equipment Operators.

The successful candidates must hold a valid driver’s license (Class 1A driver’s license is an asset), be able to operate various pieces of equipment as required (grader, tractor, skid steer, loader, backhoe, etc.), have knowledge of servicing / maintaining various equipment, and have a knowledge of road building and maintenance. Training available for the appropriate candidate.

Candidates must have well developed interpersonal skills, be able to work independently without supervision and as part of a team, be able to work safely and with attention to detail, and to take direction from the RM Council and Superintendent.

The RM of Torch River offers a comprehensive benefits package, as well as an excellent pension plan. A competitive hourly wage will be based on experience and in accordance with the R.M. of Torch River No. 488 2025 payroll schedule.
