Equipment Operator

The Rural Municipality of South Qu’Appelle No. 157 is seeking applicants for a Full-time Equipment Operator

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Class 1A Driver’s License
• Have experience and capability to operate various pieces of equipment as required for the job assigned (grader, semi, tractor, loader, etc.)
• Have knowledge of servicing and maintaining various equipment.
• Must be capable of working within a group or with minimum to no immediate supervision.
• Attention to detail, safety conscious, and ability to take direction from Foreman.

**Being able to operate other equipment such as a loader and skid steer is an asset**

Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operating various pieces of equipment in a seasons
• Gravel haul and spread
• Assisting in road repairs
• Installing Culverts
• Erecting signs
• Trucking clay or gravel
• Any other tasks assigned by the foreman with the direction of Council

This position reports directly to the Foreman.
