Administrator

The Rural Municipality of Sarnia No 221 is situated approximately 97 km Northwest of Regina.  It has a rural population of 326.

The office is a joint office with the Village of Holdfast.  The Administrator also will look after the Village of Chamberlain.

The Administrator will be supported by a full-time Assistant Administrator.  The successful candidate will be responsible to work closely with the Reeve and Council.

Administrator applicants must have the following qualifications:

  • Certificate in Local Government Administration [Proof of education required]
  • Minimum Rural Class “C” Certificate and Urban Standard Certificate [Proof of Certification required]
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a municipal government setting
  • Proficiency with MuniSoft software. [Tax Roll, General Ledger, Municipal Hail, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Utility Program and Pub Works]
  • Must be bondable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, inter-personal skills, time management skills, the ability to multitask and work on own at times.
