Administrator

The Rural Municipalities of Grassy Creek #78 and Wise Creek #77 are seeking an individual for the position of Administrator for their shared office.  The municipalities are located in the Southwest corner of Saskatchewan with the office located in Shaunavon. The position will be open to those with experience and qualification in the Municipal Government System as well as an applicant willing to train with the current administrator until this individual retires.

A qualified Administrator would begin late fall of 2026.

An applicant without credentials would require a start date of early 2026.

Experience in a Municipal government system would be an asset, preference will be given to those currently enrolled in the Local Government Administration program and/or experience working in a municipal office.

Reporting directly to Council, the Administrator is responsible for the operations of the municipality in accordance with provincial legislation and the bylaws and policies set by the Council. The Administrator is the liaison between the council, staff, and the public and is responsible for providing effective administrative leadership in a professional manner.  The Administrator will be supported by a casual Office Assistant.
