The Rural Municipality of Biggar No. 347 is actively recruiting and accepting applications for an Administrator.

The RM office is located in Biggar and encompasses 18 townships with a population of 805 and 2 unorganized hamlets.

Situated in the centre of the municipality is the Town of Biggar. The Town of Biggar has a population of approximately 2100 people and offers the benefits of small town living with a lot of amenities that a small city would offer The successful candidate will be responsible to work closely with the Reeve and Council and will be responsible for managing the regulatory, financial, and governmental requirements.

Administrator applicants must have the following qualifications:

  • Certificate in Local Government Administration or equivalent
  • Rural Class “C” certification with extensive experience
  • Experience with MuniSoft software including the Tax Roll, General Ledger, Municipal Hail, Accounts Payable and PubWorks program
  • Strong communication, management, organizational and inter-personal skills
  • Experience with financial planning and asset management
  • Must be bondable
