Resolution No. 4-04A

WHEREAS, the future of farm families in rural Saskatchewan and the agricultural economy continue to be in jeopardy; and

WHEREAS, the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities (SARM) and the Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan (APAS) represent the same people; and

WHEREAS, the concept of the APAS originated from a resolution passed at a SARM convention; and

WHEREAS, SARM is known primarily as an association to address local government issues;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities be urged to work with the Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan as a united front to the benefit of all in rural Saskatchewan.
