WHEREAS the size of farm equipment is getting larger which makes it difficult for operators to pass through the existing crossbuck at some rail road crossings; and

WHEREAS producers are unable to move from field to field with swather and combine headers; and

WHEREAS increasing the space between the crossbucks at crossings would alleviate this problem;

BE IT RESOLVED that SARM consult with Transport Canada and the Provincial Government to see if crossbucks can be spaced further apart to accommodate the increased size of farm machinery.
