Since my previous correspondence, SOI continues to operate a single licence plate system and is not considering any changes to the Saskatchewan licence plate requirements. As you may recall, a primary reason for this was related to cost. Keeping administrative costs low is one of the reasons SOI is able to provide Saskatchewan vehicles with, on average, among the lowest basic auto insurance rates in Canada.
