Resolution 5-04A

WHEREAS, Saskatchewan Agriculture, Food and Rural Revitalization has recommended separation distances for manure spreading; and

WHEREAS, rural municipalities do not control manure management; and

WHEREAS, there is substantial residential development in agricultural areas;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that SARM investigate, and lobby for changes if deemed necessary, the science behind manure separation distances from single country residential development, multi-parcel development and urban centers with populations exceeding 5000.
