Although the six-month Community Rink Affordability Grant ended in September 2021, SaskPower is pursuing a more permanent solution to assist community rinks. A seasonal demand relief program is in development and will be in place by the spring. This will allow community rinks to take advantage of the program’s benefits at the conclusion of their 2022-23 winter season. Details will be available once the program is finalized.
