Departments: Matters Pertaining to SARM
WHEREAS SARM has increasingly taken on Provincial Government responsibilities over the last several years, a step which places SARM in a conflict of interest which prevents them from representing their members to the utmost capacity; and
WHEREAS it is very apparent that SARM Directors are very partisan in the way they approach members’ directives; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that SARM Directors must be non-partisan in all manner and matters so they can “advocate in representing rural municipal government before senior governments,” and if they are not they must resign.
