Resolutions 5-02A 

WHEREAS, APAS is an agriculture based organization with its roots within the membership of SARM; and

WHEREAS, APAS was created to be a viable option to represent Saskatchewan producers on agriculture and rural farm issues at a Provincial and Federal level; and

WHEREAS, SARM is a provincial body representing rural municipal government and dealing primarily with rural municipal issues; and 

WHEREAS, both organizations should have a common bond as they represent the same people;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that this body go on record asking SARM to form a closer alliance with APAS and further to encourage all RMs to be members of both SARM and APAS forming a more united rural force.
