Resolution No. 1-01M

WHEREAS, Rural Economic Development in Saskatchewan requires an infrastructure system capable of carrying modern trucks; and

WHEREAS, current truck freight rates are based on primary weights;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that SARM encourage research into new technology for rural road construction and maintenance to develop a road system that will be able to withstand primary weights (modern trucking demands) to accommodate the implementation of uniform trucking weights on the Prairies.
