Point of Privilege Resolution No. 8-01A

WHEREAS, the federal government has currently committed $500 million assistance to alleviate existing agricultural hardships, and

WHEREAS, this federal assistance barely addresses the current agricultural crisis and certainly does not provide any sort of future policy for such agricultural downturns;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the SARM lobby the federal government for a formal response as to their reason for not providing adequate support to Canadian farmers.
