Response from Honourable Bob Bjornerud, Minister of Agriculture:

The Ministry has committed $100,000 in support of agriculture health and safety for the province since 2001. In the 2012-13 budget, we have once again committed $100,000 for health and safety initiatives. The Saskatchewan Agriculture Health and Safety Network (AHSN) will receive $70,000 towards the delivery of farm health and safety workshops, clinics and educational information. An additional $30,000 will be provided to the Saskatchewan Association of Agricultural Societies and Exhibitions for the delivery of farm safety day camps targeted at youth.
