WHEREAS beavers cause major damage to the property of landowners and to RM roadway; and

WHEREAS landowners and rural municipalities incur major expenditures for removal of dams and clearing culverts;

BE IT RESOLVED that the Ministry of Environment be requested to cover 100% of the costs incurred by RMs and individual landowners in dealing with damage caused by beavers.
