WHEREAS noxious weeds entering and spreading throughout the municipality is concerning;

BE IT RESOLVED that SARM lobby the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure to be more diligent in controlling weeds on provincial highways;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that both government and contractors be required to clean mowing equipment while moving from municipality to municipality to help prevent the spread of noxious weeds.
