WHEREAS TransGas has developed the Master Road Crossing Agreement which provides a framework arrangement for all existing TransGas pipelines and any new pipelines that TransGas constructs within municipal boundaries; and

WHEREAS this agreement allows RM's to upgrade road infrastructure with TransGas being responsible for a majority of the financial burden in several scenarios; and

WHEREAS Saskatchewan is experiencing flooding events that is necessitates the construction of flood control projects to address negative effects of this flooding;

BE IT RESOLVED that SARM lobby SaskEnergy and TransGas to development an agreement similar to the Master Road Crossing Agreement for municipalities related to the construction of flood control projects.
