WHEREAS the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure in the past had hired non-profit organizations to clean up ditches; and
WHEREAS this practise no longer occurs and garbage is filling up ditches; and
WHEREAS rural municipalities’ and Contractors’ equipment is getting damaged and ditches are becoming unsightly;
BE IT RESOLVED that SARM lobby the provincial government to once again hire non-profit organizations for ditch clean-up.
