Resolution 1-03A

WHEREAS, a resolution was passed at the 2002 SARM Midterm Convention to hold each Annual Convention in the City of Saskatoon and each Midterm Convention in the City of Regina; and

WHEREAS, such an arrangement may be detrimental to the attendance at the conventions due to traveling distance for some members; and

WHEREAS, in the past, both conventions have successfully rotated between the two cities; and

WHEREAS, seating capacity at Regina's Saskatchewan Centre of the Arts can be enhanced; and

WHEREAS, Tourism Regina will assist with the development of shuttle service and additional amenities if the Annual Convention is held in Regina;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the motion which was presented at the 2002 Midterm Convention be rescinded and that SARM conventions continue to be rotated between the cities of Saskatoon and Regina.
