Resolution 24-02A 

WHEREAS, the relaxation of The Saskatchewan Farm Security Act, 1988 may result in absentee private and/or corporate ownership of large tracts of farm land in Saskatchewan; and

WHEREAS, this type of agricultural land ownership in Saskatchewan may be detrimental to the rural economy;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that changes be made to The Farm Security Act, 1988 only after full consultation at the Municipal-Provincial Roundtable.
