Resolution No. 3-01A

WHEREAS, agricultural land carbon sinks have not been recognized as being helpful in the solution to the greenhouse gas problem; and

WHEREAS, a carbon tax is being contemplated which would cause significant expense to an already depressed industry;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that SARM lobby for recognition of the value of carbon sequestration in agricultural land.
