WHEREAS the carbon tax will adversely affect all industry within the province of Saskatchewan, including agriculture; and

WHEREAS the agricultural land base in Saskatchewan sequesters large quantities of C02 from the atmosphere;

BE IT RESOLVED that SARM lobby the Federal and Provincial Governments to ensure that if there is a carbon tax then there must be carbon credits for agricultural producers.
