WHEREAS under current SARM bylaws the President and Vice-President are elected for one year terms; and

WHEREAS a resolution was passed at the 2012 SARM Annual Convention requesting that their terms of office be changed to two years;

BE IT RESOLVED that Section 2(a) of SARM Bylaw No. 2 be rescinded and replaced with the following:

2(a) The President and Vice-President shall be elected at large by the Annual Convention and hold office for two years until their duly qualified successors are declared elected at the next annual convention. In the event that a successor is not duly elected the position shall be deemed to be vacant at the close of that convention.
