WHEREAS the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure performs work on all highways that run through the rural municipalities of Saskatchewan;

BE IT RESOLVED that when the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure is constructing or reconstructing water structures, be it bridges or culverts, they consult with the rural municipalities prior to any work being done.

In response to Resolution 25-11A regarding Water Structure Consultations, the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure has a number of public consultation processes in place that cover the construction or reconstruction of bridges and culverts which allow for the participation of rural municipalities in the process. The Ministry would be happy to meet with SARM to discuss any issues you may have with respect to the existing processes.
