Resolution 14-02A

WHEREAS, the Government of Saskatchewan's policy is to provide support to municipal governments by direct funding rather than exemption from taxation; and

WHEREAS, this method of direct funding has proven to be ineffective in maintaining a level of support equal to escalating expenses incurred by municipal governments;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Province of Saskatchewan exempt all municipal governments from paying PST on all purchases as part of their policy of support.
