Running for Municipal Council: What you need to know

The Running for Municipal Council:  What you need to know document is geared towards individuals who may be interested in or considering running for council in the upcoming municipal election.  The intent of this document is to better inform citizens of the process of running for council and to provide a brief overview of what they can expect should they be successful in their quest of municipal office.  A municipality may also decide to use this resource in advance of your municipal elections to help raise interest amongst citizens in your municipality.

The intent of this document is that it be made available to all citizens as a handout in the office.  The document is also available on the Saskatchewan Government website at www.saskatchewan.ca.
