Operating Foreman

The RM of Marquis No. 191 is accepting applications for the position of a permanent full-time Operating Foreman.

The RM Office and Shop are located in the Village of Marquis, located approximately 40 kms northwest of Moose Jaw.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess:

• Willingness to take direction from Council and give positive direction to employees.
• Ability to work well with Council, Administration, staff and the ratepayers of the municipality.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills to lead the outside workers in the day-to-day operations of the RM.
• Experience in the operation and maintenance of graders, backhoes, tractors, mowers, etc.
• Experience and skills to complete maintenance, construction and snow removal on roads.
• Promote and participate in workplace safety and best practices.
• Mechanical and welding skills.
• Power Mobile Equipment Certification Training.

The salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
