Office Clerk

Under the general supervision of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and the Assistant CAO, the Office Clerk will assist with managing day to day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in an administrative role, with expertise in general accounts receivable and working with the public. This candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to build positive relationships with the CAO and Management Team.

We are seeking a candidate who:

  • Demonstrates a high degree of personal initiative, organizational skills, reliability, professionalism and respect
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment
  • Possesses excellent time management skills and can balance multiple priorities and jobs
  • Can evaluate and determine priority of all tasks
  • Can maintain professionalism with all political and sensitive matters
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to assist effectively with the public
  • Municipal Government experience is preferred – preference will be given to applicants with MuniSoft Software experience
  • Use: Microsoft Office: Excel, Word
  • Create: using Canva, Social Media posts, posters and public advertising
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative role
