Resolution No. 34-01A

WHEREAS, the rural municipalities are responsible for establishing zoning districts; and

WHEREAS, there is a big difference in the factors that the SAMA assessors use for agricultural land or country residential land; and

WHEREAS, the SAMA assessors are indiscriminately putting an enhanced area (similar to country residential) on agriculture land; and

WHEREAS, the authority of the RMs are being undermined by SAMA bureaucrats,

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that SAMA assessors be required to use the municipal zoning maps for determining the land classification in a municipality.
