Common Tansy

BE IT RESOLVED that, “Common Tansy” be included as a noxious weed under The Noxious Weed Act.

The inclusion of Common Tansy  to the Noxious Weed Regulations wil be a beneficial tool that allows municipalities to enforce the control of this weed.  The Ministry of Agriculture will be sure to include "Comon Tansy (Tanacetum vulgare L." in a future consultation for revisions to The Noxious Weeds Designation Regulations, 1999.
