Rural Crime Watch

The Rural Crime Watch (RCW) program in Saskatchewan is a crime prevention partnership between the Provincial Rural Crime Watch Association (includes local RCW boards – where they exist), the RCMP, and its authorized Protection and Response Team (PRT partners).  The RCMP’s PRT partners, at this time, include Saskatchewan Conservation Officer Services and Saskatchewan Highway Patrol.

  • RCW members are volunteers who serve as the ‘Eyes and Ears’ of their communities.
  • RCW members will contact the police to report suspicious persons / vehicles.
  • RCW members agree to receive notifications from the RCMP and their local RCW liaison or board.
  • RCW members respect the laws, and they report crimes to the police.
