Jay Meyer
Executive Director
Jay is no stranger to rural Saskatchewan. Raised in Kenosee Lake, he's spent his career working in rural communities. A fearless leader with a hectic schedule, he still makes time to chat with the team and is always open to new ideas and welcome to change. Jay's a big Red Wings fan and loves the Roughriders and his two pups Syuk and Mookie.

Laurel Feltin
Director, Programs and Operations, Acting Director, Policy
Laurel is SARM's historian and the go to gal for staff for any questions. She has had many roles at SARM and currently oversees the association's programs and operations. Laurel enjoys summer camping trips and trying new recipes.

Nicole Lane
Rural Integrated Roads for Growth (RIRG) Infrastructure Program Coordinator
Hailing from PEI, Nicole claims to be a little goofy! She is bilingual and brings 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She can make a mean cocktail, loves craft beers and fresh oysters. Nicole relies on her east coast hospitality to support the RIRG program.

Aaron Holmes-Binns
Senior Policy Analyst
Aaron joined the SARM team after spending four years in Manitoba and 12 years in Saskatchewan as an accredited assessment appraiser. He recently moved to Regina from an acreage in the Qu’Appelle Valley. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Finance & Trading Services

Catherine Patterson
CPA, CA
Director, Finance
Catherine leads the finance department. She manages to volunteer at the Wascana Racing Canoe Club, watch her kids compete in canoe/kayak races and Ukrainian dance and take family road trips while also ensuring SARM’s books are balanced and the office lights are kept on!

Breanna Janzen
BBA
Senior Accountant
Breanna comes from BC and is a huge asset to the finance team. She is exceptionally organized and likes to streamline processes. Our taste buds have told us that she is an expert baker but our waistlines are thankful she only treats us to her baking every once in awhile.

Amanda Kozak
Trading Services Advisor
Amanda connects member product and service needs with SARM Trading Services vendor partner offerings. She represents SARM at vendor events and is on the look-out for cost effective solutions for our members. Amanda enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and girls at the lake.

Gaylene Mellon
Accounting Assistant
Gaylene is a team player, whether she is at home with her 4 kids, volunteering in her community, or working at SARM. She is sociable and finds fun in all the little things. When she is not chaperoning kids to activities, she is with her family spending time at their cabin enjoying time in the sun.
Insurance & Benefits

Craig Williams
BBA, CIP.
Director, Insurance and Benefit Programs
Craig leads SARM's Insurance and Benefits team and manages the day to day operations of the Liability Insurance Plan. He is our resident go-to person for our office building maintenance and an expert car shopper. He loves all things vehicles and lending a hand where needed.
Community Planning

Jennifer Chamberlin
RPP, MCIP
Manager of Community Planning
As a registered professional planner providing community planning assistance to SARM members, Jennifer is cool as a cucumber, she's so level headed. She always makes time to chat. Jen enjoys being active outdoors, whether it’s with skates, cleats, or a board on her feet or a club, racket, or paddle in her hand.

Robyn Rechenmacher

Senior Community Planner
Robyn is a registered professional planner who is passionate about helping communities thrive and plan for the future. She loves to work hard, learn new skills, travel throughout Canada, and spend time with her family and cats. She's always quick to offer a hand, and happy to help.

Michael Morris, Q.C.
Director, Legal Services
Mike grew up on a farm near Tuxford and has been practicing law since 1984- initially in private practice with the law firm Gerrand Mulatz and with SARM since 2000. As Director of Legal Services Mike provides advice to SARM and its members on a variety of legal issues.

Teresa Edwards
Legal Assistant
Managing competing priorities is second-nature to Teresa in her role at SARM. Teresa supports SARM's team of lawyers and is responsible for the administration of the Legal Department. Born and raised in Regina, Teresa has been with SARM since 2000 when the legal department was first introduced.

Kelsay Reimer

Director, Engagement & Communications
With an affinity for rural Saskatchewan and motivated by results, Kelsay leads all the engagement and communications activities for SARM. She likes to stir things up and always ask the question why. She loves yoga, golden retrievers and a nice malbec.

Corette Mihalcea
Communications and Marketing Coordinator
Corette's creative bone and knack for design is well suited for all SARM's branded communication needs. Her enthusiasm for creating collateral for SARM is contagious, as is her laugh- you should hear her giggle. She has a special love for her grand-daughter Haislee and her cat Purdee.
Municipal Bridge Services

Daniel Segal

Director, Municipal Bridge Services
With over a decade of experience encompassing a rural municipal bridge’s complete lifespan, Daniel can leverage his specialized knowledge and experience towards the unique goals and challenges of rural municipal government. Outside of the office Daniel enjoys camping, playing volleyball, and riding his motorcycle.
