SARM Midterm Convention – November 6 & 7, 2013
SARM will hold its 2013 Midterm Convention this week from November 6 – 7, at the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina.
The Convention officially opens Wednesday, November 6, at 9:45 am with registration beginning at 8:00 am. David
Marit, SARM President, will provide the opening address. The Honourable Bill Boyd, Minister of the Economy, will address the delegates at 10:15 am. In the afternoon, the Honourable Jim Reiter, Minister of Government Relations, will be addressing the delegates at 3:20 pm.
The final day of the Midterm Convention will start with the Resolution Session (Point of Privilege) beginning at 9:00 am. Later that morning, the Honourable Lyle Stewart, Minister of Agriculture, will give an address at 11:30 a.m.
The agenda also includes presentations regarding alternative enforcement, overweight permitting, safety and operator training options, the new federal infrastructure programs, STARS and emergency preparedness.
