To better accommodate our members, the Rural MAIP will now have a continuous application intake. This intake process will allow us to accept applications from both RMs and potential interns on an ongoing basis and will provide for the flexibility to start internships at the most opportune time for participants. We anticipate that this new process will help us to better address the rural municipal administrator shortage and facilitate succession planning in RMs.
For more information about the program and for application packages please visit the MAIP webpage or contact Shelley Kilbride at 761-3729 or skilbride@sarm.ca.
