The Rural Municipality of Big Stick No. 141 (located 48 km north of Maple Creek) is accepting applications for a temporary full-time grader operator / labourer to begin immediately until March 31, 2026. Could possibly turn into a permanent position.
Primary duties include operating grader (includes plowing snow) and various equipment, may be required to assist in road repairs, installing culverts, erecting signs as well as other duties as required and as directed by the foreman and council.
Qualifications:
- Experience, willingness and aptitude to operate RM Grader
- Knowledge of servicing and maintaining various equipment
- Working knowledge of road building and maintenance
- Capable of working with others and with minimal supervision
- Good management of time
- Willingness to follow directions
- Attention to detail and safety conscious
- Powered Mobile Equipment Certification is an asset
- Willing to take training as requested
- Class 5 Drivers license
