SARM Midterm Convention – November 7 & 8

For Immediate Release  SARM Midterm Convention – November 7 & 8, 2017 SARM will hold its Midterm Convention next week on November 7 and 8 at the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina. SARM President Ray Orb will kick off the Convention with the President’s Address at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7. Minister of Government Relations Larry Doke will bring video greetings to delegates prior to breakout sessions for workshops. Recipients of the Saskatchewan Municipal Awards will be recognized at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7. SARM members will then have the chance to debate and vote on resolutions at 3:00 p.m. On Wednesday, November 8, RCMP Assistant Commissioner Curtis Zablocki will speak to delegates about rural policing and Rural Crime Watch. We are pleased to include on the agenda for Wednesday presentations from Environment and Climate Change Canada, Tire Stewardship of Saskatchewan, STARS and the Water Security Agency.
