SARM Releases Got Gravel? Report
The Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities (SARM) is pleased to announce the release the Got Gravel? Aggregate Management Strategies for Rural Municipalities in Saskatchewan report. In August 2015, SARM commissioned CPP Environmental to research aggregate management in Saskatchewan and make recommendations to develop long-term gravel reserves for rural municipalities (RMs).
“The municipal road network in Saskatchewan is more than 165,000 kilometres,” said SARM President Ray Orb. “Gravel is therefore a critical resource to RMs, as they seek to maintain, upgrade and build new roads to serve both ratepayers and industry.”
