Since 2013, SARM has been offering RM Foremen and Operators training in Safety Excellence Leadership. A repeat of Modules 1 and 2 of the program are being offered once again this fall to allow those that haven’t taken them to do so.

There is no cost to registerWhat is the Safety Excellence Leadership Training ProgramIn 2013 SARM arranged to have the Heavy COnstruction Safety Association of SAskatchewan (HCSAS) provide RM operators with a comprehensive safety training course which will assist RMs in their efforts to create a safe work environment but also to provide tools to help them better compy woth Occupational Health and Safety regulations contained in the Saskatchewan Employment Act. HCSAS currently offers a 4 module course titled “Safety Excellence Leadership”.
- Training for Module 1 was offered at our March 2014 Annual Convention.
- Training for Module 2 was offered at our March 2015 Annual Convention.
- Repeat training for Modules 1 and 2 are offered prior to teh Mid-Term 2015 Convention.
- Module 3 and 4 will be offered at future conventions.
