Doug Steele Wins Saskatchewan Party Nomination
The Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities (SARM) Vice-President Doug Steele has won the Saskatchewan Party nomination in the Cypress Hills constituency for the next provincial election.
“As the Division 3 director and more recently as the Vice-President of SARM, Doug has served his division well for over a decade and will take that experience to the Cypress Hills constituency with him,” said SARM President Ray Orb. Mr. Steele first joined the SARM board after winning the election in 2004.
Mr. Steele has resigned from his position as Vice-President of SARM since winning the nomination. The SARM Board of Directors will be electing an Acting Vice-President at the August 2015 board meeting.
