SARM 2008 Midterm Convention
The Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities (SARM) will hold its Midterm Convention on November 13 and 14 at TCU Place in Saskatoon.
The convention will address many of the issues that municipalities are currently facing including physician shortages and development issues with presentations from the College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs. Delegates will also hear from the Minister of Agriculture Bob Bjornerud and the Minister of Municipal Affairs Bill Hutchinson. Jim Reiter, MLA Rosetown-Elrose will also speak about a review on education tax he is currently undertaking.
