Safety Programs & Manuals

SARM is currently in the process of exploring options to develop a “Safety Program Template” for RMs to use when trying to implement their own Safety Programs and Manuals to appease the OH&S regulations contained in the new Saskatchewan Employment Act.

In October 2014 SARM emailed all RMs asking if they had drafted and/or adopted a Safety Program and/or manual for their RM and if so, were they willing to share it with SARM so we could make it available for all RMs to view.

Below are some of the SAMPLE RM Safety Manuals/Programs that were received from RM’s by email.  These are only SAMPLES of what kinds of manuals and forms other RMs are using and shouldn’t be taken as something that SARM is recommending RMs use and implement as RMs often have different needs with regards to safety so please consider them as samples for RMs to consider only.  All “RM identifiers” have been removed from the documents.

SARM will take these sample documents into consideration as we work towards developing a standard template that RMs might use in the future.

Thank you to all RMs who submitted documents to be shared.  For more information please contact Laurel Feltin at SARM at 306-761-3733 or email: lfeltin@sarm.ca.
