R.M. of Bengough No. 40 - Road Building Tender

1. Time & Place

1.1 Tenders will be submitted to the Rural Municipality of Bengough No. 40 by April 12, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. local time.  Tenders may be submitted by the following means
Sealed with the words " Road Building Tender" to the Rural Municipality of Bengough No. 40 Box 429 Bengough, Saskatchewan S0C 0K0
Faxed with a cover page stating "Road Building Tender" to rm40@sasktel.net

1.2 Tenders will be opened at the Regular Meeting of Council on April 13, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. local time

2. Tender Acceptance

2.1 The Municipality reserves the right to refuse to accept any or all tenders, and the lowest tender will not necessarily be accepted
2.2 Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any tender may be rejected which is incomplete, obscure, or irregular
2.3 The Municipality reserves the right to cancel the acceptance of any tender at any time before the execution of the contract by all parties without any liability against the Municipality 
2.4 3 Business related references shall accompany the tender.  Personal references will not be considered

3. Late Tenders

3.1 Tenders received after the time and date specified in Clause one (1) of the Instruction to Bidders will not be considered

4. Validity of Tender

4.1 A bidder may, without prejudice to himself, withdraw his tender at any time up to within two (2) hours of the time specified in Clause one (1) of the Instruction to Bidders.  The tenders received will be valid for a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of the opening of the tender

5. Tender Limitations

5.1 Oral and telephone tenders will not be considered
5.2 Oral and telephone modifications to submitted tenders will not be considered
Modifications will only be accepted in writing by the means noted in Clause one (1) of the Instruction to Bidders

6. Tender Submission

6.1 All tenders shall include the following information:
a) Price per mile to complete the project per the estimates provided for in clause 7
b) A copy of an up to date letter of Good Standing with the Saskatchewan Workers Compensation Board
c) A list of equipment/machinery relevant to the completion of the Construction along with a copy of valid liability insurance
d) Start date

7. Project Specifications

a) Project 1 - East 15 04 22 W2 & East 10 04 22 W2
Load, Haul, Place & Compact 300mm Clay to 7.6 m road width and 3:1 sideslopes = 23,000 m3
Remove existing 400mm culverts and replace with new 400mm culverts
Remove existing 500mm culverts and replace with new 500mm culverts
Install new 1200mm culvert
RM to supply culverts, couplers, etc.
Rocks to be picked from Ditches and road surface
Approaches built to Municipal Standard
Top Soil to be stripped and replaced  on backslopes
A comprehensive Quantity Estimate can be found attached to this document

8. Tender Omissions

8.1 Council reserves the right to consider tenders with minor omissions provided that the bidder, if successful in the tender awarding, can rectify the omission within five (5) days of the tender being awarded

9. Labour, Materials & Equipment

9.1 The successful bidder shall supply all supervision, labour, materials, equipment, tools and all other things necessary for the complete supply of the work as indicated or intended by the specifications which form part of this document
9.2 The unit price shall include the supply of all supervision, labour, materials, equipment, tools and all other things necessary for the complete supply of work

10. Successful Tender

10.1 The successful bidder will be required to sign the Contract Agreement as attached to the Instructions to Bidding
10.2 If the successful bidder refuses or neglects to sign the Contract Agreement within seven (7) days after the notice that the bidder has been successful in procuring the job the Municipality reserves the right to cancel the tender and award it to the next bidder considered appropriate by the Municipality

11. Commencement and Completion of Work

11.1 Time will be of the essence of the Contract made with the successful bidder and the Contractor will be required to comply strictly with the dates specified, subject to the terms of the contract

12. Good & Services Tax

12.1 The tender unit price shall not include Goods and Services Tax

 


 

R.M. of Blaine Lake No. 434 - Mowing Tender

  • Based on your knowledge of the Rural Municipality (approx.. 380 miles of road)
  • Primary Roads – original top cut – July-August
  • Secondary Roads and Farm Access – top & bottom final cut after August 31.

To include:

  • Hourly rate; and
  • Cost per mile of ditch (specify one side or both sides of mile; and single top OR full cut – breakdown); and
  • Total RM contract price;
  • Worker’s Compensation;
  • Liability insurance; and
  • A list of your equipment
  • references

R.M. of Frontier No. 19 - Gravel Crushing Tender

The RM of Frontier #19 is requesting tenders for crushing 25,000 yards of 7/8 inch gravel at the pit located at SE 30-6-21W3 . Tenders must include the costs for mobilization fee, cleaning and stripping and any other applicable fees.
 
For further information regarding details, please contact the RM office. 
Please include timeframe when crushing could be done.
 
Tenders shall be placed in a sealed envelope marked “Frontier Gravel Crushing Tender” and must be received at the RM of Frontier office on or before Monday, April 10, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
 
The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

The RM of Pleasantdale No. 398 is accepting tenders for the hauling and applicatoin of approximately 14,000 cubic yards of 1" traffic spec gravel to be appled to roads located in the RM.
